It is the time of year for making and breaking New Year’s resolutions. Research and experience both tell us that we can’t keep them. I believe one of the main reasons we can’t keep New Year’s resolutions is because they come from a place of guilt and shame. But guilt and shame never produce a positive outcome.
So, is it possible to make lifestyle changes? Absolutely. How? Start by establishing your values – what do you want to be known for?
Once you’ve set your values, own your yes and your no. Own your yes by creating habits that fit your values and own your no by staying true to your boundaries.
